The Beer Belly Deli & Pub (BBD) is an upscale comfort eatery that will be located at 510 Westcott Street in the Westcott Neighborhood of Syracuse, New York, near Syracuse University and the Downtown Business District. Run by two friends and with over 18 years combined experience in the restaurant and bar industry, the BBD will provide a unique and creative eating experience pulling on traditions of gastro pub fare, buy local/eat local delicatessens and decadent French patisseries.
The mission of the BBD is to bring an upscale comfort food experience to a section of Syracuse that is known for its artsy and unique residents and incredible community support. The goal is to provide customers with creative and innovative food and beverage options in an atmosphere that is comfortable, open and supplies an experience that cannot be replicated. The BBD will thrive on customer loyalty and strive to cater to the spirit of the neighborhood, serving a blend of alternative, vegan/vegetarian, and organic foods as well as traditional American pub fare with a lux and innovative twist at prices sustainable by the market.
The primary focus of the BBD will be its unique and creative menu options, as well as an upscale and sophisticated wine and beer menu. Our menu will be innovative and current, changing on a regular basis as fresh ingredients become available, as customer feedback dictates and as the industry changes. To the greatest extent possible, all meats will be marinated, braised or otherwise seasoned on site, all condiments will be prepared fresh on site, and all baked goods will be prepared daily.
The BBD will be a place where friends and family can come together, whether it’s for coffee and a home baked donut, a lunch meeting with a client, or a casual dinner with drinks and conversation trailing into the evening. It will be a place where local artists are invited to show and sell their artwork, where intellectual discourse will fill the outdoor garden and patio on warm summer nights, and where the community will feel welcome to relax and unwind during all seasons. In short, the BBD will be a part and parcel of the Westcott neighborhood.
We hope that the community is as excited about the BBD as we are. We are eager to hear community feedback as we progress with our project and look forward to a long relationship with our neighbors.
